Privacy policy

Last updated: 19 October 2026

Draft – this privacy policy is currently under legal review and may still change.

Controller

The controller responsible for processing personal data on this website is Artistas Photography, Eric Heitz, Ostpreußenstraße 12, 89331 Burgau, Germany. Email: [email protected], phone: +49 176 20982473.

Hosting and server logs

The website runs on our own server infrastructure in Germany or the EU. When you visit, the server processes technically necessary data: IP address, date and time, the address requested, browser and operating system. This serves secure operation and the prevention of misuse (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).

No analytics or advertising services

We do not use any analytics, tracking or advertising services on this website, and we do not load fonts or scripts from third-party servers. We only use cookies where they are technically necessary, for example to sign in to the members' area.

Applying for the model coaching

When you apply, we process the details from the form, such as your name, email address, phone number and your answers. We store them in our internal contact management system to review your application and get in touch with you (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).

We match the contact details with our CRM at HubSpot (HubSpot, Inc., USA). This may involve transferring data to the USA.

Booking appointments and calls

If you book a first conversation, we create the appointment in Microsoft 365 and send you a confirmation by email, with a Microsoft Teams link where needed (Microsoft Ireland Operations Ltd.). The consultation takes place via Zoom (Zoom Communications, Inc., USA).

Communication via WhatsApp and Instagram

If you allow us to contact you via WhatsApp, or if you write to us via WhatsApp or an Instagram direct message, we process your phone number or Instagram username, your name and the content of the messages. We use this to talk to you about your application and agreed appointments, for example when we cannot reach you by phone or to remind you on the day of a call. We store the messages in our internal contact management system.

WhatsApp and Instagram are provided by Meta Platforms Ireland Ltd., Merrion Road, Dublin 4, D04 X2K5, Ireland. Data may be transferred to Meta Platforms, Inc. in the USA. Meta is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework, for which the European Commission has adopted an adequacy decision (Art. 45 GDPR).

The legal basis is your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR), which you give in the application form or during a call, and, where your application and appointments are concerned, taking steps prior to entering into a contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR). If you write to us yourself, we reply to your request. You can object or withdraw your consent at any time, most easily by replying "STOP" to one of our messages or by emailing [email protected]. After that, we will not send you any more WhatsApp messages.

Academy waiting list

For the waiting list we store your name, email address and language. First you receive an email with a confirmation link (double opt-in). Only after you confirm will we write to you about the Academy launch. This is based on your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR), which you can withdraw at any time by emailing [email protected].

Members' area

Models in the programme receive an account for the members' area. To sign in, we set a technically necessary session cookie (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).

Protection against misuse

We protect our forms without third-party services: with a hidden field, a minimum time to fill them in and a limit on requests per IP address, which we process briefly for this purpose (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).

Your rights

You have the right to access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and objection (Art. 15 to 21 GDPR). To exercise them, email us at [email protected]. You can also lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority, for example the Bavarian State Office for Data Protection Supervision (BayLDA).
